iOS 16 features that you must check out now
Ability to edit and 'unsend' messages
Getting embarrassed by typos is all in the past now for iPhone users as iOS 16 brought the ability to edit sent messages. So whenever you notice a typo after a message is sent, you'll be able to edit the message instead of deleting it. You can immediately recall a sent message. Also, you can Undo Send tool to prevent an unfinished message from being read.
A new customizable lock screen
iOS 16 brings the most substantial update to the iPhone's lock screen yet by making it customizable. Press and hold your lock screen to edit it and customise it as per your choice. You can try out different styles, changing the colour filter for the background photo and the font on the lock screen. You can even customise the fonts for the time and date, and add lock screen widgets like temperature, activity rings and a calendar.
Always on display on iPhone 14 Pro
The iPhone 14 Pro has an always-on display feature by default that will keep you posted about the notifications even when you're not using your phone. It dims the wallpaper and highlights the clock but you may find it's not that useful and drains battery. So if you want to turn it off, you can do so by making changes in the settings.
Enable the haptic keyboard
Apple has also brought haptic feedback to its own stock keyboard with the iOS 16. This means you will feel subtle taps or vibrations under the display whenever you type. To turn it on just go to Settings > Sound and Haptics > then choose 'Keyboard feedback' and enable it.
Battery percentage indicator is back
The battery percentage indicator that was removed with the release of the iPhone X is back with the iOS 16 update. Now you can see the actual percentage in the battery icon in your status bar. To activate it, just head to Settings > Battery and toggle on the 'battery percentage' option.
