Flipkart Super Value Week: Buyback schemes on Google Pixel 2, Moto X4 and more

Flipkart on Monday kicked off a "Super Value Week" sale for select smartphones. During the six-day sale, Flipkart is offering "huge buyback" value for smartphones along with flat discounts and cashback.

What is Flipkart Buyback Guarantee scheme?

Flipkart introduced its 'BuyBack Guarantee' scheme last year with the Moto G5 smatphone. Under this scheme Flipkart will buy back your phone at a given price after a certain period of time. Note that this scheme works with you purchasing a new phone in the process.

For instance, you can get the Google Pixel 2 at ₹10,999 which originally retails at ₹70,000. Here's a breakdown of how the scheme works. Flipkart is already offering a discount of ₹9,001 on Pixel 2 which brings down the price to ₹60,999. There's an additional HDFC cashback of ₹8,000 which makes the effective price of Pixel 2 ₹52,999.

After eight months of purchasing the Pixel 2, Flipkart will buy the phone back for ₹42,000. This leaves you with paying only ₹10,999 for the Pixel 2. While you are getting a pretty low price for a flagship smartphone, do note that you can use the device only for the set period of eight months.

Flipkart is also offering buyback value of up to ₹44,000 on Google Pixel 2 XL and ₹35,000 on Pixel 2 64GB.

Moto X4 4GB

There's a similar scheme on Motorola's mid-range phone, Moto X4. Users can own a Moto X4 for up to 8 months for ₹6,999. The smartphone is officially available at ₹22,999. Flipkart is offering up to ₹12,000 off on exchange.

Redmi Note 4

Xiaomi's highly popular Redmi Note 4 is available with a buyback value of ₹5,500. The company says the buyback value is higher than regular exchange values. For instance, the regular exchange value for Redmi Note 4 is around ₹3,400.

Other top buyback models

Moto G6 Play, which is originally priced at ₹11,999, is available with a buyback value of ₹5,100. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is available with a buyback value of ₹5,600.

There are deals on the top-end phones like iPhone X and Apple iPhone 8 Plus as well. The two phones are available with a buyback value of up to ₹35,000 and ₹39,200 respectively.
