Gaana announces partners with Triton Digital’s Omny Studio

Through this partnership, Gaana users will be able to listen to more than 28,000 podcast shows from Omny’s global library.

Indian music streaming giant Gaana on Tuesday announced that it is partnering with Los Angeles-based digital audio technology and advertising company, Triton Digital's Omny Studio, to boost its presence in the digital audio and podcast industry.

Through this partnership, Gaana users will be able to listen to more than 28,000 podcast shows from Omny's global library. Additionally, Gaana will have access to Omny's feature-rich podcast management technology, empowering Gaana's publishing partners with tools they need to create and distribute engaging content and expand their reach.

Notably, the announcement comes shortly after the company announced a partnership with Paris-based TuneCore for distributing digital music. The partnership enabled TuneCore artists to reach out to over 185 million Gaana subscribers. It also enabled Indian artists to distribute their content to TuneCore's extensive network of digital stores across the globe, which includes Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, Facebook, JioSaavn, Hungama and Wynk among others.

In addition to that, Gaana also launched the Gaana Launchpad last month to bring emerging Indie artists to the spotlight. The Launchpad features a playlist that is compiled by in-house editors comprising of 40 songs by promising artists.
