Gaga's social network, Little Monsters opens

Good news for all Lady Gaga fans out there! In a bid to cash in on her popularity on social networking sites, the Born This Way singer has opened Little Monsters, her own social network for fans.

Lady Gaga's Little Monsters social network has come out of beta and opened up to fans all over the globe.

The site is a fusion between popular image sharing network Pinterest and Facebook. It was developed by social media platform creator Backplane and aims to unite members through their common interests, passions or industries -- in this case their love of the pop star (aka "Mother Monster").

The site first launched in invite-only beta in early 2012 and features exclusive content from Lady Gaga.

Backplane claims littlemonsters.com "fills a gap in the current social spectrum by empowering sharing and conversation that is effortless but not automatic."
