Step 1: To hide your story from someone and prevent them from seeing the content that you are sharing on your story, first open your Instagram app.

Step 2: Tap the profile picture in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Then tap three-horizontal lines in the top right and then click on Settings.

Step 4: Go to the Privacy section and then tap Story.

Step 5: There, you will find the 'Hide story from' option. Tap the number of people next to it.

Step 6: You can select the Instagram profiles by searching that you would like to hide your story from. And it's done! In case you are using an iPhone, you will need to literally tap done to complete the processor. Similarly, to unhide someone, just unclick the blue tick in front of their name from the list.
