Jio users to get Disney+ Hotstar VIP free for 1 year

Reliance Jio has teased its upcoming offer of providing one year of subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP to its subscribers.

Reliance Jio subscribers will soon get free access to one year subscription of Disney+ Hotstar VIP. Jio has teased the new offer on its website with details to be announced soon.

Jio in the past has bundled Hotstar subscription with its recharge plans. But this would be the first time that Jio users get one year access to Disney+ Hotstar VIP. Jio has so far only teased the offer. Details of how it plans to roll this out haven't been revealed yet.

The Disney+ Hotstar VIP plan is priced at ₹399 per year. With this subscription plan, users get access to movies and shows from Marvel Cinematic Universe, superheroes movies and popular Disney movies like The Lion King and Frozen II. Disney+ Hotstar also comes with Hotstar Specials and live sports like the Premier League and Formula 1.

There's Disney+ Hotstar premium as well which costs ₹1,499 per year. This one comes with all the goodness like Disney+ Originals, and the latest shows from studios like HBO, Fox and Showtime.

Airtel also launched a recharge plan priced at ₹401 which comes bundled with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for one year. This recharge plan also offers 3GB data with validity for 28 days. Jio would probably launch a similar offering where it bundles Disney+ Hotstar with an existing plan or launch a new one altogether.
