Microsoft releases Holiday Hits album with tracks ‘Windows Wonderland’, ‘You’re on Mute Night’
Microsoft has released a Christmas album featuring “60 festive favourites”. It has all the Christmas classics sung in pure Microsoft fashion. “Microsoft Holiday Hits” has four CDs in total with the “great selection of holiday songs EVER assembled.”
Now before you start trying to figure out where to buy Microsoft's Christmas album, let me warn you that this is fake. There's no Microsoft Holiday Hits album that you can purchase, and the entire thing has been done just for fun. Microsoft did give a preview of some of its Christmas song covers, and the lyrics are quite funny. The lyrics of the popular Christmas song “Joy to the world” has been modified to - “Joy to the Word, spell check is done. It fixed all of my stuff.”

Then there's “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” which in Microsoft's Holiday Hits album sounds something like this - “Please Mute Ye Merry Gentlemen, You're talking far too loud. We're trying to have a meeting, you're yelling in a crowd.”
It even features the most catchy Christmas song, Jingle Bells which has been replaced by Bingle Bells!
Microsoft also revealed some of the tracks for its Holiday Hits album. Anyone familiar with Christmas songs will understand the modified titles right away. These include Windows Wonderland, You're on Mute Night, Let it Segoe! Let it Segoe! Let it Segoe! Frosty the Windowsman, The Most Wonderful Teams of the Year. Clippy, Clippy, Clippy, Azure Lang Syne, Deck the halls with ‘90s Clip Art, and Go Tell It on a Teams Call.
