Microsoft started rolling out its Chromium-based Edge web browser in January this year. However, during the initial roll out, users had to manually download the update to use the revamped Edge browser on their personal computers. Microsoft, at the time, had promised that Edge will be available as a part of Windows 10 update in future. “If you'd prefer not to install Microsoft Edge manually, you can wait for it to be installed in a future update to Windows 10, following our measured roll-out approach over the next several months,” the company had written in a blog post. Microsoft is making good on its promise now.

The company has started rolling out Chromium-based Edge web browser to all its users as a part of the latest Windows 10 update.

A Microsoft support article, first spotted by The Verge, notes that Microsoft Edge is available for Windows 10, versions 1903 and 1909. This indicates that the new Edge web browser is coming to millions of Windows 10 powered devices. The best thing about this update is that users don't have to download the Edge update separately on their PCs. Instead, it will be automatically updated on their PCs as they update the operating system on their personal computers.

Separately, Microsoft is also planning to bring collections bookmarking option, vertical tabs, smart copy, and a password monitor to Edge. These features should be available in Microsoft Edge in the coming months.
