OnePlus will launch its new flagship series in India later tonight. The new OnePlus 7 series will feature two smartphones - OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.

This year, the Chinese company is taking a different turn by unveiling not one but two smartphones at the same time. OnePlus is expected to launch its 5G smartphone at the launch event as well. From the new OnePlus 7 series, OnePlus 7 Pro will be the company's premium flagship offering with high-end specifications and features.

OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a HDR 10+ display which has already received DisplayMate's A+ rating. With HDR10+ OnePlus 7 Pro will support high resolution streaming from services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. HDR 10+ also supports brightness peak at 4,000 nits.

OnePlus hasn't talked much about the OnePlus 7 smartphone. What we know is that the OnePlus 7 will succeed last year's OnePlus 6T. We can expect incremental upgrades on the OnePlus 7. The company has however confirmed the new OnePlus 7 series will have water resistance but without the IP rating.

The launch event for OnePlus 7 series will take place in three cities globally. In, the launch event will take place in Bengaluru, and it is scheduled to take place at 8:15 pm.
