OnePlus is looking to recreate success of its previous phones with a tried and tested formula - high specced phone with an aggressive price tag. OnePlus 7 Pro, second smartphone in OnePlus 7 series, will take on the likes of Samsung Galaxy S10 and other flagship phones from rivals with 12GB of RAM and 256GB built-in storage.

Spotted on Geekbench benchmarking website, OnePlus 7 Pro will also come with Qualcomm's newest flagship chip, Snapdragon 855 processor. The listing also reveals that OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in multiple RAM variants with 12GB version being the top-end model. According to reports, OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB of RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

In comparison, Samsung Galaxy S10+ offers the latest Exynos chipset and variants like 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, 8GB RAM with 512GB internal storage (Only ceramic models), and 12GB RAM with 1TB internal storage.

While OnePlus 7 Pro may lose the storage battle with Samsung, it will certainly have a price advantage. Even at rumoured price of 55,000, OnePlus 7 Pro will be cheaper than Samsung Galaxy S10's top-end model which is priced over 1 lakh.

Apart from performance, OnePlus is also looking to undercut the competition with a triple-rear camera setup including a 48-megapixel sensor. OnePlus 7 Pro has already been confirmed to feature a notch-less curved screen along with pop-up selfie camera. At the moment, Google Pixel 3 and Apple iPhone XS come with a notch design. Samsung Galaxy S10+has rather unique dual punch-hole camera.

OnePlus 7 series is scheduled to launch in India on May 14. The company will launch also an OnePlus 6T successor with improvements in the screen and camera department.
