Realme GT 2 models feel like paper, pack more tech than ever
The Realme GT 2 series is now official, packing top-tier specifications and updated designs. Know what they cost.
Realme has been building a lot of hype on the Realme GT 2 series phones and now, they have officially launched. The Realme GT 2 is largely a mild update to the Realme GT whereas the Realme GT 2 Pro is the full-blown flagship with the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Prices start at CNY 2,699 for the base Realme GT 2 whereas the GT 2 Pro comes at a price of CNY 3,899.
The Realme GT 2 models have launched in China as of now and the company is yet to announce its plans for global availability, including India. The Realme GT 2 series comes in Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black and Titanium Blue colours.

Both the Realme GT 2 series get a special paper-like design, which is a result of Naoto Fukusawa and Realme Design Studio's collaboration. The standard Realme GT 2 features a 6.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
This one relies main camera with a Sony IMX776 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera features a 16MP sensor for shooting selfies. The Realme GT 2 relies on a 5000mAh with a 65W wired charging system.
On the other hand, the Realme GT 2 Pro gets a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and peak brightness of up to 1400 nits. This one gets the Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Inside, the Realme GT 2 Pro feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The entire system relies on a same 5000mAh battery and is supported by a 65W fast wired charging.
The camera system on the rear consists of a 50MP Sony IMX766 with OIS sensor. This is assisted by a with a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 1/2.76 sensor size and a 150-degree field-of-view, and a third 2MP macro camera.
