Here’s how you can get instant cashback of ₹2,200 on exchanging your old dongle or modem for a new JioFi hotspot device.

Reliance Jio on Saturday introduced a new scheme under which customers can exchange their older modems and dongles with a new JioFi hotspot and get an instant cashback of ₹2,200. Customers can purchase the new JioFi hotspot device for ₹999.

Reliance Jio offers three JioFi devices with price starting at ₹999. The JioFi and JioFi M2 are

priced at ₹1,999. The latest Reliance Jio scheme is for the base model priced at ₹999. The JioFi device supports 4G LTE, video and HD voice calls. The device can connect up to 32 devices (up to 10 recommended). It comes with micro-sd card,   micro-usb port,and nano SIM slots. It is powered by a 2,300 mAh battery which is claimed to deliver 5 to 6 hours of back up.

Reliance Jio's JioFi devices compete with Airtel's 4G hotspot which is available for ₹999.

Airtel's 4G hotspot also supports up to 10 connections. The operator claims the battery lasts up to 6 hours.

JioFi exchange offer: How to avail the cashback scheme

Customers first need to buy the new JioFi device for ₹999. And then they need to get the Jio SIM activated through ₹198 or ₹299 + ₹99 (for Jio Prime subscribers) recharges.

Then, you can return your old non -Jio dongle or modem at any JioStore or Reliance Digital Store. Provide your dongle or modem serial number and your new JioFi MSISDN Number. The cashback will be instantly credited in your MyJio Account.

Note that the ₹2,200 cashback will be credited in MyJio account in the form of 44 vouchers of ₹50 each which customers can redeem through recharges of ₹198 and ₹299.
