Reliance Jio continued its deal spree with the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) investing a sum of ₹5,683.50 in Jio Platforms for a 1.16% stake in the company making it the eighth deal in a span of mere seven weeks.
In addition to that we all saw a WhatsApp bug reveal the phone numbers of the users in Google Search. We also saw Samsung revealing the launch date for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in India.

Reliance Jio-ADIA deal
ADIA invested a sum of ₹5,683.50 in Jio Platforms for a 1.16% stake in the company. With the latest investment, Jio Platforms has raised a total of ₹97,885.65 crore from various global investors.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite globally back in April this year. Now, the company is planning to launch the tablet in India on June 8. The device is already listed on Amazon India website and Samsung's India website.
WhatsApp bug
Bug bounty hunter Athul Jayaram has discovered a bug in WhatsApp's Click to Chat feature that shows the phone numbers of users in plain text on Google Search.
Jio scheme for Disney+ Hotstar
Reliance Jio finally shared details about the plan that gives Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription to the users. One year free VIP subscription for Disney+ Hotstar is available with ₹401, ₹2,599, ₹1,208 and ₹612 plan.
Satya Nadella on social justice
Lastly, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella shared his views on social justice. He also pledged a donation of $1.5 million to various organisations including Black Lives Matter Foundation, Equal Justice Initiative, Innocence Project, The Leadership Conference, Minnesota Freedom Fund and NAACP Legal Defense & Education Fund.
