New WhatsApp features are always exciting even though they arrive very late. And one much-awaited feature could be rolled out soon. Looks like Google is insecure as it alerted users who used Gmail on Microsoft Edge.

Nokia teased the launch of another iconic phone in India. More tech news include Apple Watch being a savior again as it called cops and helped an unconscious user. There were a few product launches today in India including one from Samsung.

So here's a breakdown of everything that made headlines in tech today.

WhatsApp feature

WhatsApp has been rumoured of working on multi-device support for quite some time. The feature appeared again in beta which reveals WhatsApp has begun testing it internally. This hints at an imminent launch for multi-device support on WhatsApp.

Google Chrome vs Microsoft Edge

Microsoft is known to try and lure Chrome users on its Edge browser. Now Google is doing something similar and sending an email to users who login to Gmail on Edge. It's a basic alert email but Google not so very subtly mentions in the mail why users should switch to Chrome.

Nokia 5310 teaser

Nokia teased it is launching the 5310 phone in India which is more popularly known as XpressMusic. The 2020 version of Nokia 5310 launched earlier this March. And it's coming soon to India. It didn't reveal the launch date though but interested users can sign up for updates from Nokia's website.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite

Samsung's latest tablet is now available in India. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite starts at 31,999, and it will go on sale via online and offline channels from June 17. Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with an S Pen and in Wi-Fi and LTE variants.

Apple Watch saves a life, again

Apple Watch did it again as it helped an unconscious user with its fall detection feature. The owner of the Apple Watch had reportedly fainted and collapsed and was unable to make an emergency call. But the Apple Watch made that call and help came for the user.
