When Microsoft revealed the Xbox Series X nearly a year ago, the internet immediately compared it to a fridge. Of course, there were memes too. And Microsoft took that up in good humour and assured people that the Xbox Series X was smaller than a fridge, surely. However, now, Microsoft has decided to a go a step ahead and has actually created an Xbox Series X fridge.

The Xbox Series X fridge is a 1:1 replica scale of the Xbox Series X measuring more than six feet in height and weighs 400 pounds. It has an Xbox logo on the front that lights up and the Xbox Series X boot sound comes on when you use the disc drive slot to open the fridge door. And the fridge glows green from inside.

Microsoft says the fridge is about $499 ( ₹37,098 approx), the same price as the Xbox Series X, but here's a twist - you cannot buy one. Miscrosoft is giving one away in a competition and the winner is going to be picked on November 4.

Microsoft delivered one of these Xbox Series X fridges to Snoop Dogg last week so if you were to get very lucky and actually win the one Microsoft is giving away, you will have something in common with the rapper and movie star.

So what are the rules?

It's pretty simple. First, eligibility -

To enter, you must be a legal resident of any Xbox Live supported regions, you can check if your region is covered from this list here (India is a part of it, in case you were wondering).

You also need to be 18 years or older. However, if you are 18 years of age or older, but “have not reached the age of majority in your legal place of residence, then you must have consent of a parent/legal guardian, who must accept these Official Rules and execute all Contest paperwork on your behalf”.

What do you need to do -

1. Login to your legally registered Twitter account and follow @xbox.

2. Re-tweet the promotional post and include the hashtag #XSXFridgeSweeps.

By re-tweeting, you will receive one entry into the Sweepstakes. The limit is one entry per person.

The Sweepstakes started at 10:00AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) on October 28 - so it's already live. And ends at 7:00PM PST on Wednesday, November 4 - that's till 8:30AM IST of November 5.
