Xiaomi to host Global Ecosystem Product Launch event on July 15
Xiaomi's Global Ecosystem Product Launch event will be live streamed at 8PM GMT+8 (5:30PM IST) on Wednesday via the company’s official Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Mi Community accounts.
Xiaomi is all set to host its Global Ecosystem Product Launch event on July 15. At its upcoming event, the company is expected to unveil a bunch of new products including the Mi Smart Band 5, Mi Electric Scooter and the Mi TV Stick among others.
The event will be live streamed at 8PM GMT+8 (5:30PM IST) on Wednesday via Xiaomi's official Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Mi Community accounts. The company has been teasing details about its upcoming event via its social media accounts and it has confirmed that it would be launching the Mi Smart Band 5 and the Mi Electric Scooter at the event. Details about its other products remain unclear as of now.

It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi launched its next generation fitness tracker in China last month and now it is planning to launch it in markets across the globe. The Mi Smart Band 5 comes with a 1.1-inch AMOLED display. It has 11 sports modes, improved sleep tracking feature, SpO2 sensor and a magnetic charger among other things. It also comes with a 100mAh battery which the company claims can last for up to 14 days.

Xiaomi also launched an electric scooter earlier this year at a price of RMB 1,999 ( ₹21,467 approximately) in China. It offers a maximum speed of 25Kmph and a battery capacity of roughly 30Km.

Apart from the Mi Smart Band 5 and the Mi Electric Scooter, Xiaomi is also expected to launch the Mi TV Stick at its upcoming event. It is expected to run on Android Pie and come with built-in Chromecast. It will compete with the likes of the Amazon FireTV stick and Google Chromecast in the market.
