Free Fire update is finally here and gamers can now download the same from Google Play Store or App Store. Garena Free Fire has introduced a number of changes while celebrating its 4th anniversary and gamers would be thrilled with the experience which includes the new Lone Wolf mode and it even has a specific Iron Cage map for the action. Not just that, Free Fire has also introduced new characters, new pets and to ensure it removes any staleness that may have crept into the game, it has even made some character adjustments.

While gamers can head to Play Store to download the Free Fire update, dubbed OB29, they should know what kind of space it will now occupy in their devices. Free Fire OB29 update file size is as much as 453 MB. And yes, it can even be installed via APK and OBB routes.

If you were among those who was way too eager to download the Free Fire update before it was made available and found out that things were not available and that you could not even get started on it, then know what the company itself had stated on Facebook and Twitter about the whole thing. The reason why you could not get it was because the company was going through a maintenance schedule. It said, "We’ll be having our maintenance on the 4th August starting from the 9.30 AM to 5.45 PM IST. Please be noted that during this time, you will not be able to enter the game as we work on getting the new updates in for you! However, after the maintenance ends, you will be able to update your app and play as usual. Look forward to the new update and enjoy the new features soon!"

Now that you know, you can download the Free Fire update without facing any glitches.

So, once you complete the fresh Free Fire download, what you get is a new gameplay (1x1) where gamers can have a face-off with each other. However, this Lone Wolf gameplay has been restricted to just Iron Cage map and becoming the Lone Wolf champion is not going to be easy. In fact, it will be a thrill-a-second gameplay where your continuance will depend entirely on your skills and speed. The principle is very simple - it works as per the knockout format. Victory has to be achieved after winning 5 rounds under the best of 9 rule.

Apart from Lone Wolf, the other changes that Free Fire update brings are fresh redeem codes that should be most welcome. And yes, the Clash Squad has gone through a makeover.
