The game was recently in the news for allegedly sending Indian gamers' data to servers based in China, Hong Kong, US and Moscow. Even as it solved that issue in the Indian avatar of PUBG Mobile by issuing a small update, it ran into another problem - maps were not downloading properly and there were errors during matchmaking. Battlegrounds Mobile India has only provided early access, glitches were expected to be revealed as gamers put the game through its paces. BGMI launch date is yet to be revealed. However, Krafton rushed to find a fix and a patch was promptly issued. Now, both matchmaking as well as Battlegrounds Mobile India map download are up to speed, according to a post from the game’s Discord server spotted by MySmartPrice. Also read click here. Here we show users how they can now apply the Battlegrounds Mobile India patch to resume playing the game normally: How to apply the new Battlegrounds Mobile India patch Step 1: Open the game and go to the Settings app by using the arrow icon at bottom, then log out of the game. Step 2: If you signed out correctly, you should see an option called “Repair” on the screen. Tap it, then select “Routine repair” then tap OK. Step 3: While the patch installs you do not have to do anything, but you can charge the phone while the process continues. Step 4: As soon as the patch is installed, you can exit the game, clear it out of memory before loading it to play again. With the two fixes recently released, Battlegrounds Mobile India seems to have resolved both the technical issues that were preventing users from playing, as well as the data-sharing issue that was first identified by IGN India. According to a recent report, after Krafton pushed a small update to the app (measuring a few kilobytes) not a single Chinese server was reportedly pinged across two entire matches. According to the report, it appears that the only time a server was pinged was when app data was deleted – a Proxima Beta server was contacted, likely because of the feature enabled by Krafton offering former PUBG Mobile users the ability to transfer their in-app purchases and game progress to the new avatar, Battlegrounds Mobile India.
