Windows 11 upgrade on Realme Book laptop? Check out what company has hinted at

Realme Book is yet to debut but it has already been making news since it will be the company’s first laptop. A tweet by Realme now suggests the laptop will support Windows 11 upgrade.

Realme Book, Realme's first laptop, is expected to launch soon and what is noteworthy is that it may well offer Windows 11, the software upgrade that Microsoft has launched just a few days ago. Realme laptop is expected to run Windows 11 out-of-the-box or at least, confirmed to support Windows 11. This was hinted at in a tweet, but Realme doesn't actually go on to confirm this fully. As such, Realme Book would be among the first laptops to offer Windows 11 upgrade.

Realme has been dropping small teasers giving us a glimpse of the laptop and there have been leaks too. What is clear from them is that the Realme laptop may well have a MacBook-like design.

Realme, from its Realme Tech Life Twitter account, shared a short teaser video of Windows 11 with the caption, “Windows, ready when you are!” There's also a small exchange of replies between the company and Windows with Realme saying, “You want us to ‘Book' a date?” The Book here is emphasised which sort of confirms that the Realme laptop will indeed be called Realme Book.

So, even as there is no official confirmation, it more or less states that the Realme Book laptop will be Windows 11-ready. Windows 11 is scheduled to release in autumn (around November, 2021), and if the Realme Book launches before that, then users will have to wait for the upgrade.

According to a teaser shared by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth, the Realme laptop features a MacBook-like design. The leaked images of the Realme Book also reveal a similar design. The Realme Book has an aluminum body and thin bezels along with dual speaker grilles at the bottom. The Realme branding is also visible on top of the laptop.

Realme VP Wang-Wei Derek also shared a photo of the Realme Book along with the box. The laptop is seen with slim, black coloured and in a clamshell design. The keypad also looks somewhat like a dark liver/gray colour. The Realme Book has been spotted in a silver design so far. And it looks like the Realme Book will be a slim and light laptop. There's still quite a lot to be revealed about the Realme Book especially in the specifications department.

Companies like Asus and HP have also confirmed a free Windows 11 upgrade for their PCs and laptops..
