Xiaomi Mi NoteBook Horizon Edition confirmed ahead of India launch

Xiaomi is expected to launch a standard Mi NoteBook and a Horizon Edition of the laptop in India.

Xiaomi has been teasing the launch of its first laptop in India sharing bits of information. Xiaomi has now revealed the packaging of the Mi NoteBook along with a ‘Horizon’ edition of the laptop.

The packaging of the laptop confirms a “Mi NoteBook Horizon Edition”. It also has few features of the laptop written below the photo isn’t clear enough for that. However leakster Ishan Agarwal shared another image of the packaging along with specs of the Mi NoteBook.

According to him, there will be a standard Mi NoteBook and a Mi NoteBook Horizon Edition. The special edition of the laptop will feature a 14-inch Horizon Edge display with thin bezels. It will have DTS-powered audio, SSD storage support and offer 10 hours of battery life.

Prior to this, Xiaomi had teased the Mi NoteBook will come with 12 hours of battery life, and feature a full HD display. It had already teased the slim bezels as well in addition to a light-weight design. The laptop will be powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor.

Xiaomi already sells different models of the Mi NoteBook in China, and RedmiBook as well. But there’s no confirmation if the Mi NoteBook launching in India will be a rebranded version or a completely new one. There are speculations that it will actually be a rebranded version of the RedmiBook 13 which also runs on the i7 chipset.

Xiaomi is launching the Mi NoteBook in India on June 11. This would be another product category expansion for the Chinese company in India.
