All Asus ROG Phone 3 smartphone variants in India get a price cut

Asus is giving away its most powerful gaming smartphone of the year, ROG Phone 3 at lower than usual prices during the “Flipkart BIG DIWALI SALE”. As a part of the sale, all three variants of the ROG Phone 3 will be available at ₹3,000 less than what they are being sold for. 

UPDATE: Asus representative confirms that this price cut is permanent and won't be limited to Flipkart's BIG DIWALI SALE.

This means that 8GB+128GB, 12GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB models, which have an original price of ₹ ₹49,999, ₹52,999 and ₹57,999, will now be available for ₹46,999, ₹49,999 and ₹54,999.

You can also get these variants on no cost EMIs for 3, 6 and 9 months. Here's the breakdown. 

-8GB+128GB: ₹15,667 each for 3 months, ₹7,834 each for 6 months and ₹5,223 each for 9 months.

-12GB+128GB: ₹16,667 each for 3 months, ₹8,334 each for 6 months and ₹5,556 each for 9 months.

-12GB+256GB: ₹18,333 each for 3 months, ₹9,167 each for 6 months and ₹6,111 each for 9 months.

The No cost EMIs will be available on Bajaj Finserv, and credit and debit cards from all banks. Axis Bank debit and credit card holders will get 10% instant discount from 29th Oct to 4th November.

The new prices are applicable from October 29 (today).

Asus ROG Phone 3 specifications

The ROG Phone 3 boasts of a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 10-bit HDR10+ support and 144Hz refresh rate. It also claims to deliver 1ms of response time while the touch latency has been reduced to 25ms. powering this gaming smartphone is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor with 3.1GHz clock speed, Adreno 650 GPU and UFS3.1 inbuilt storage.

The ROG Phone 3 features speakers that now has 7 magnets for lesser distortion. The firm has partnered with Swedish firm Dirac as well for improving its speakers. Adding to that is the 3rd generation GameCool system, which now has 6X larger heatsink, redesigned Copper 3D vapor chamber and a larger graphite film to keep things cool.

ROG Phone 3's touch sensitive ultrasonic Air Triggers 3 with haptic feedback now supports both sliding, swiping and the possibility to divide each button in two partitions for tapping. You get side-mounted Type-C ports like before so you can plug in the charging cable without having to adjust your hand while gaming. 

On the camera front, ROG Phone 3 includes 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor Quad Bayer technology and f/1.8 aperture + 13-megapixel 125-degree ultra-wide camera + 5-megaixel macro camera with f/2.0 aperture. At the front, there is a 24-megapixel f/2.0 camera. The smartphone even has the ability to record 8K resolution videos at 30fps.

Running Android 10, Asus ROG Phone 3 weighs 240 grams and has 6000mAh battery with 30W fast charging tech onboard.
