Oppo Find X3 to come with 12GB RAM, says a new leak
The Find X3 is also confirmed to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor.
Oppo last month had announced it would soon launch Find X3 series smartphone with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888 processor. The company did not disclose an official launch date for the phone. It seems the phone is inching closer to the official launch as it has been spotted on Geekbench benchmarking site. The listing also reveals some more details about the phone.
According to the listing, Oppo Find X3 has 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 11 out-of-the-box. The phone is seen sporting model number CPH2173. The serial number is in line with the older Find series phone – X2 (CPH2023) and X2 Pro (CPH2025), according to a GSMArena report.
As far as benchmark scores go, Oppo Find X3 bagged 1,134 points on single-core test and 3,660 on the multi-core test. The report also pointed out that the benchmark scores are similar to the official numbers Qualcomm had shared for the Snapdragon 888 SoC.
That said, the latest listing does not reveal anything more about the device. Older reports, however, claim the phone will come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with AMOLED panel and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It is also said to come with Sony's IMX766 50-megapixel camera, which is also found on Oppo's Reno 5 Pro+ 5G smartphone. The Find X3 will reportedly feature periscope zoom as well.
We're likely to find out more about the Find X3 in the coming days. As far as Snapdragon 888-powered phones go, Xiaomi has already introduced the Mi 11 with the latest chipset. Realme is also working on a premium Race phone with the new Qualcomm chip.
