Poco will launch a new smartphone in India today. Called Poco M2, the smartphone is going to be a new variant of the recently launched Poco M2 Pro. The smartphone is likely to be targeted at the budget segment.

Poco is going to unveil the new phone through a virtual event, scheduled to start at 12noon. You can watch the announcement live on the company's official handles on Facebook and YouTube. For real-time updates, you can follow its official Twitter handle.

What we know about Poco M2 so far

Ahead of the official launch, Poco has already revealed a few features of the Poco M2. The new smartphone will come with a large 5,000mAh battery. It has also confirmed that the phone has an AI quad-camera. Another big feature that has been revealed is the full HD+ display. The phone will also have 6GB of RAM.

Vs Poco X3

Poco M2 comes a day after the company launched Poco X3 NFC globally.

The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch dot display with full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G 5G chipset that is coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

Poco X3 has four rear cameras featuring a 64MP primary sensor with Sony IMX682 sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has a 20MP AI selfie camera.
