Realme 7i, SLED 4K TV, Buds Wireless Pro, Buds Air Pro, and more to launch at Realme's Leap to Next Gen event

Realme will launch a SLED 4K TV (55-inch), 100W soundbar, Realme Buds Wireless Pro, Realme Buds Air Pro, and a Realme 7i smartphone. Here is everything you need to know.

Realme will host a Leap to Next Gen event today to unveil a new range of devices across categories. The virtual event is scheduled to start at 12:30 PM IST and will be live-streamed on the company's official YouTube channel. You can also follow Realme's social media handles for the latest updates.

At its event, Realme will launch what it calls the world's first SLED 4K TV (55-inch) with a display technology based on Spectral Power Distribution (SPD). The company is also going to launch a 100W soundbar, Realme Buds Wireless Pro, Realme Buds Air Pro, and a Realme 7i smartphone. Realme is also going to launch more smart lifestyle devices at the event.

Realme 7i

The pick of the lot is going to Realme 7i, a new budget smartphone. Interestingly, the phone has already launched in Indonesia. It is priced at IDR 3,199,000 ( 15,800 approximately), and it comes in only one variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Realme is likely to launch the phone at a similar price point in India.

As far as specifications go, it has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor. Realme 7i packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

The camera configuration includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultrawide angle lens, 2-megapixel monochrome lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, there's a 16-megapixel camera up front.

Other features include USB Type-C port, rear fingerprint sensor, and Realme UI based on Android 10.

New Realme Buds

The Realme Buds Air Pro features active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 35db and can deliver 94 milliseconds super-low latency. The TWS looks identical to Apple AirPods Pro.

Realme Buds Wireless Pro is also likely to come with active noise cancellation up to 35db. It is equipped with Sony LDAC technology and Hi-Res Audio. It features 13.6mm bass boost drivers and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. The Realme Buds Wireless Pro is said to deliver 22 hours of backup on a single charge, and up to 16 hours with ANC turned on.
