Samsung Galaxy S21 series pricing leaked ahead of launch
Each leading up to the launch of the Galaxy S21 series is revealing something new about the smartphones. A Belgian carrier has now “accidentally” leaked the pricing of the entire Galaxy S21 lineup. This leak also contains details on some of the key specifications of the smartphones.
The price listing of the Galaxy S21 series has been removed from the carrier's website but tipster Abhishek Yadav managed to grab some screenshots. Samsung Galaxy S21 starts at 849 euros ( ₹76,600 approx) for the base model with 128GB storage. Galaxy S21 Plus with 128GB storage will cost 1,049 euros ( ₹94,600 approx). Galaxy S21 Ultra has been listed for 1,399 euros ( ₹1,26,100 approx), and for the base model with 256GB storage.
The carrier also had descriptions about each phone confirming some of the key specs. Galaxy S21 Plus will feature a 6.7-inch display with 1080 x 2040 pixels resolution, and it will be powered by the Exynos 2100 chipset. The smartphone will run Android 11 with One UI layered on top, and it will pack 8GB of RAM.
Its camera details have also been revealed. Galaxy S21 Plus will house a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. For selfies, it will feature a 10-megapixel front camera. Galaxy S21 is said to come with the same camera specifications. Galaxy S21 Plus will also pack a 4,800mAh battery.
Galaxy S21 Ultra will house a bigger 6.8-inch display, and also a bigger 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone has been listed with the same camera sensors as the Galaxy S21 Plus which is surprising since the premium model is expected to feature a 108-megapixel camera as well. That's still quite a lot of official information leaked on the Galaxy S21 series. There isn't much left to be revealed at the launch which is scheduled to take place on January 14.
