The newest iPhone 14 Pro is a very expensive phone but you only get to have one colour on your phone – either it's just black or the new Purple. Tecno says its upcoming smartphone lets you enjoy multiple colours on the back, just in the style of Mondrian. We have seen colour changing phones from Vivo and Realme in the past, and now Tecno does the same with its Camon 19 Pro Mondrian edition. This phone can simply change its colour when exposed to the sunlight, and unlike the Vivo V25, it dons multiple colours.

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian edition is based on the artist's work of the same name. Tecno is yet to announce a launch date for the same but leaks suggest it is launching next week in India. Similar to most colour changing phones we have seen, the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian is expected to carry a price of less than Rs. 20,000. That is quite affordable given the fashion forward design of the phone.

The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian is different from the regular model of the same only in terms of its rear design. Flaunting a combination of rectangular boxes, some of them change colour from white to various shades of blue, red and purple. The phone also takes cues from the iPhone 14 for its sides.

Rest of the phone is strictly an affordable smartphone and hence, could challenge the likes of the Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G and Realme 9 Pro 4G. With a price expected to be under Rs. 20,000, this special edition could be more affordable than the standard model.

Hence, buyers will be getting the same 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 5000mAh battery supported by a 33W wired charging solution. The phone is also said to be relying on the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, which is one of the more popular chips in the 4G smartphone market. The phone even has a 64MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP telephoto camera.

Prior to this, Vivo launched the Vivo V25 Pro a few weeks ago with a colour changing design. Realme also used a colour changing design for its Realme 9 Pro Plus 5G.
