Vivo Y52 5G with Dimensity 700 SoC, 5000mAh battery launched
Vivo has launched Y72 and Y52 handsets in Europe. While the former had debuted in March earlier this year, the Y52 is a new handset. It will be available for a starting price of Eur 299 ( ₹26,600 approximately).
As pointed out by Gizmochina, Vivo has not revealed the full specifications of the Y52. The company in a post said the phone has 5G support. It “shares a slew of features” with the Y72 5G. The phone comes with a 6.58-inch display with full HD+ resolution.
It runs on a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The phone also has a dual nano sim card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Vivo Y52 5G also has MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The Y52 5G features a triple-lens rear camera system that's equipped with a 48-megapixel main camera with autofocus as well as a 2-megapixel macro and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. The camera setup is completed with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
As far as the Y72 goes, the phone comes with a 6.58-inch display with an IPS LCD panel and full HD+ resolution. The screen offers a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. The notch houses a 16-megapixel camera sensor for selfies.
The MediaTek's Dimensity 700 processor is coupled with 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4x) and 128GB of built-in storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support. On the software front, it comes with Android 11-based FunTouch OS 11.1.
It comes with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The camera also supports features such as super night mode, eye autofocus, and EIS. Other important features are dual-SIM, 5G connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, and microSD card slot. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
