Acer launches new Chromebooks, laptops, speaker and monitors: Details here

At its global event, Acer today unveiled a bunch of new laptops along with Chromebooks, new monitors and even a smart speaker for the market. The list includes products like Acer Swift 3X laptop, Predator-branded monitors, Acer Halo smart speaker, special edition Porche Design laptop, Chromebook Spin 513 and ConceptD 7 laptops and desktops.
Acer Swift 3X has nearly the same look as the Swift 3 but with different specifications. It has Intel's Iris Xe Max, company's new GPU and comes in Intel Core 11th-gen SoC, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It also costs $1,199 for the particular model. There is a $899.99 model as well. There's a 58.7Whr battery powering it.
The company also launched its first Chromebooks powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor. The laptops launched are Chromebook Spin 513 and its Enterprise Spin 513. The also support LTE connectivity. They have 13.3-inch screens and deliver up to 14 hours of battery. You also get up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the regular Spin 513 will cost $400, the Enterprise variant will cost $700.
For graphic and video professionals, the firm has introduced a mid-sized tower to its range of ConceptD desktop PCs along with laptops ConceptD 7 and 7 Pro. The new 15-inch laptops now come with 10th-gen Intel processors RTX 2080 GPUs and up to 16GB RAM. The desktop ConceptD 300 also comes with 10th-gen Intel processor, GeForce RTX 3070 and up to 64GB RAM. The desktop's base models will start at $1,534 while the laptops begin from $3,299.
Acer also introduced a special edition Porsche Design Acer Book RS laptop. This premium device features an 11th-gen Intel Core i7 CPU and an optional Nvidia MX350 GPU. The design is flat with harder edges and carbon-fibre finish for sporty look. Other specs include Intel Iris XE graphics, 16GB of RAM and up to 17 hours of battery life. The starting price is $1,400.
One of the key devices launched during the event was Acer Halo, the company's Google Assistant-based smartphone speaker. The $109 speaker has DTS sound and a RGB base that can show weather, images and more. This will be made available in the US starting Q1 2021.
Lastly, the firm introduced some new gaming monitor under its Predator and Nitro lineup. While the Predator monitors are high-end, the Nitro lineup is more ‘affordable'. The highlighted monitor is the Predator X34 GS that has a 34-inch Curved QHD panel size with 180Hz refresh rate and G-Sync support. It also has two integrated 7W speakers. Others are Predator XB253Q GW, Predator XB323U GX, Predator XB273U NV, Nitro XV272U KV and the XV272 LV.
