Another Google app may get RGB colour redesign as spotted by users

The firm is sticking with those RGB icon redesigns and more seem to be coming to your smartphone soon.

When Google came out with workspace icon redesign, while some were fine with it, many weren't and took it to social media to make fun of it. However, the firm is sticking with those RGB icon redesigns and more seem to be coming to your smartphone soon. 

You already have the redesigned Google Pay, Gmail and other icons on your handset but there's something called as Google Calls that is coming as well along with the same RGB colour scheme. A Reddit user found a YouTube ad online mentioning the new ‘Google Calls' feature and a new phone logo besides it.

The icon and shape of the new icon seems similar to the Phone by Google icon and it even resembles the Google Voice icon except for a new colour scheme.

As for the feature, it also seems new. In the ad, the ‘Google Call' shows caller ID feature on the handset. It also has the current ‘Phone by Google' mentioned at the bottom. So, what does ‘Google Call' actually mean? It might be the next updated version of ‘Phone by Google'. Who knows. Currently, the caller ID feature or ‘Call Screen' on Android is limited to Pixel phones only and there's no word by Google on changing the ‘Phone by Google' app yet.

However, looks like its just a matter of time before this app also gets a change.

Google's redesign took place last month and Gmail's new logo was the major change in the list. The new Gmail logo is now just the letter ‘M' with Google's trademark colours. The previous one was an envelope with the letter ‘M' signified in red colour.
