Apple unveils suite of services for gaming, TV and news: Highlights
Apple on Monday announced its new and updated services. The iPhone maker launched new subscription services for magazines, gaming, and original programming.Apple News+ is the new platform for magazine subscription. Apple will offer over 300 magazines to users with the latest issues, personalised tabs and recommended content. Apple News+ will be available at $999 with the first month free for users.Apple’s gaming service is called Apple Arcade and it will be available within the App Store. Apple Arcade will host new and exclusive games with offline playing and no ads. Apple’s biggest announcement was its streaming service, Apple TV+. Apple will offer original programming from Hollywood stars like Steven Spielberg, Jennifer Aniston, Jason Momoa and more.Apple TV+ will be available later this fall, and as part of the new and updated Apple TV app.

Apple Arcade
Apple Arcade for gamers announced. Apple says its first gaming subscription service for mobile and desktop users. The service will give access to games from SEGA, Lego, Disney and more. Just like Apple News+, it will be available as a dedicated section. Apple Arcade also supports offline mode.
App Store for games
Apple to update App Store. The update focuses on gaming enthusiasts. Apple says its iOS has over 1 billion players.
Apple Card
Apple launches special Apple Card credit card. The new card uses Apple Pay and comes with several cashback offers. The card supports Mastercard as well. Apple says its partner Goldman Sachs will not share your data for marketing and advertising. Apple's Titanium Card doesn't have card number, CVV security code, no expiration date and no signature. The card will be available in the US later this year.
Apple News+: Price, availability
Apple News+ is available for $9.99 per month. The first month is available for free. The service will be initially available in the US and Canada. The platform will be rolled out to Europe and Australia later this year. Interestingly enough, India and Asian markets are not mentioned for Apple News+.
Privacy on Apple News+
Apple says the platform doesn't allow websites to track your usage. It also uses on-device intelligence for recommendations.

The platform features content from about 300 magazines and covers categories like food, travel and entertainment. Apple News+ is a dedicated section within the free Apple News application. The UI looks quite neat with elements like Live Cover images and Kindle-like pages. Articles shown in the demo seem visually rich with infographics and bigger fonts. It also features recommendations based on your interests. The platform also includes content from digital apps and newspapers such as TechCrunch, The LA Times, The Wall Street Journal.

Apple News gets a big makeover. Tim Cook says Apple News is the top News app in the world. The revamped platform is more like a newsstand with access to top magazines. The latest platform is called Apple News+.
