Google last year had said that it would soon bring Apple TV+ to the new Chromecast. Now, nearly three months later the company is keeping good on its promise by bringing the Apple TV app to Chromecast with Google TV.

The company today announced that starting today, the Apple TV app, including Apple TV+, will be available on the new Chromecast with Google TV for the users around the globe. The company also said that it will bring this functionality to more Google TV devices in the coming days.

Now, AppleTV+ subscribers can watch shows like Ted Lasso, For All Mankind, The Morning Show and Servant”, and movies like Greyhound and Palmer on their Google TVs. “The Apple TV app also gives you access to your library of movie and TV show purchases from Apple, as well as personalized and curated recommendations and Apple TV channels. And with Family Sharing, up to six family members can share subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple TV channels,” Google wrote in a blog post.

Apart from this, users can ask Google Assistant to open the Apple TV app or play an Apple Original title. Users can also add Apple Originals to their Watchlist for viewing later. However, these features will roll out globally in the coming months.
