Asus Zenfone 6 to launch today: Confirmed specifications, features
Asus Zenfone 6 will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery.
Asus will launch its new flagship smartphone later today. Asus Zenfone 6 will launch at an event in Valencia, Spain.
The launch event for Asus Zenfone 6 is scheduled begin at 20:00 CEST which would be 11:30 pm IST for viewers in India. Asus will be livestreaming the launch event via its official YouTube channel. Interested users can also follow live updates for the Zenfone 6 launch through Asus' social media pages.
Prior to the launch, Asus started teasing its new flagship smartphone. In a short teaser video, Asus highlights the design of Zenfone 6 which looks to be a notch-less display. Asus Zenfone 6 will presumably feature a design similar to the recently launched OnePlus 7 Pro and Realme X. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 855 chipset.

Asus has also revealed that the new phone will feature a 3/5mm headphone jack, a triple card slot and notification LED. There's also a 'smart key' located on top of the smartphone. The most recent teaser by Asus shows that the Zenfone 6 will pack a 5,000mAh battery. The company also takes a jibe at OnePlus 7 by showing off its bigger battery.

Asus Zenfone 6 will be succeeding the present flagship smartphone, Zenfone 5Z. Launched at ₹29,999, Zenfone 5Z comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display and a notch on top. It sports a dual-camera setup of 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.
Asus Zenfone 5Z is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and AI charging support.
