BSNL extends Work from Home plan until June 20
The plan offers 5GB data per day.
State operated Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has extended the validity of its Work@Home plan until June 20.
The announcement regarding the extension of the work from home plan was made by the company's Chennai team via a circular. As a part of the plan, BSNL is offering 5GB of internet data per day to all its existing landline users at a download speed of up to 10Mbps. Once the 5GB limit is exhausted, the download speed will get reduced to 1Mbps.
Apart from the data benefits, the Work@Home plan also offers 1GB of email ID space and unlimited downloads and uploads to its users. This plan is available for free to all landline users and it is available to customers across the country except for the users in Andaman and Nicobar islands.
It is worth mentioning that BSNL had first introduced this plan back in March this year right around the time the lockdown in light of the Covid-19 outbreak was first announced. At the time, the company had announced that the plan would be available until April 19. Later in April, the company extended the validity of the plan to May 19. Now, the company has again extended the validity of the plan for one month.
