BSNL offers upto ₹50 talktime loan to prepaid users
Earlier, BSNL offered a talktime loan of ₹10 to its prepaid subscribers.
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new talktime loan offer for its prepaid users. Up until now BSNL offered a talktime loan of ₹10 to its prepaid subscribers. But now word is that the company has increased this limit to ₹50.
According to a report by OnlyTech, the state-run telecom operator is offering a talktime loan of up to ₹50 to its prepaid subscribers in case they are unable to recharge their prepaid mobile numbers. To get the loan, which is a part of the company's BSNL TalkTime loan plan, prepaid subscribers will have to dial the USSD code following which they will get a prompt to select the loan amount.
The loan amounts that the company is offering includes ₹10, ₹20, ₹30 and ₹50. BSNL subscribers can dial “*511*7#” to avail the offer.
In addition to availing the loan amount, BSNL subscribers can also check points earned by them using this option. Beyond this, the details pertaining to this offer remain unavailable as of now and so it remains unclear how a subscriber would refund the loan amount. However, it is assumed that the company will deduct the loan amount whenever the subscriber recharges their phone.
