1/7 Android smartphone users are again at risk! Cybersecurity researchers have reported about a new malware threat called Autolycos. The worrying part is that the malware has chosen the widely used Google Play Store platform to disseminate the malware to the victim’s phone via apps, Express.co.uk reported (Pixabay)

2/7 Moreover, not just one or two, but a total of eight apps on the Google Play Store have been reported to be spoiled with this dangerous malware. The report says that there have already been 3 million installs of these apps, which is concerning because that means there are so many people who are being swindled and whose privacy is being violated. 3/7 The danger of Autolycos malware is that the users find it hard to detect the apps with this malware in them and meanwhile, it performs malicious activities including, even reading SMS on the device. Not just that, shockingly, the malware is capable of even paying for premium services without letting the victim know! (Unsplash)

Zomato has been a hugely successful venture since its launch back in 2008. The app makes ordering food super easy by giving you the ability to get food even from far off locations delivered to your doorstep. With the rising competition from fellow food delivery services such as Swiggy and Uber Eats, Zomato is aiming to strengthen its position in the food delivery industry with the new Zomato “Intercity Legends” project.

Zomato Intercity Legends project

In a blog post, founder & CEO of Zomato Deepinder Goyal explained, “We put together some of the best problem solvers and product builders at Zomato to find a way to bring popular dishes from cities across India to your doorstep. These culinary jewels are known to be the gastronomical must-haves of their cities. So much so that your visit to that city is incomplete without tasting them.”

Goyal wrote in a tweet, “There's a jewel in every corner of India – Baked Rosogollas from Kolkata, Biryani from Hyderabad, or Kebabs from Lucknow. Zomato's Intercity legends (pilot at limited locations for now) now lets you order these iconic dishes through our app.”

How does Zomato Intercity Legend work?

According to the official Zomato blog, you can order dishes such as baked rosogollas from Kolkata, Hyderabad's biryani, mysore pak from Bengaluru, kebabs from Lucknow and Delhi's famous butter chicken. The order will be delivered to you a day after it was booked.

The freshly prepared dish will be air-transited to you in tamper-proof, reusable containers which will go through lab testing for quality before delivery. Zomato will use State-of-the-art mobile refrigeration technology to preserve the food without the need for any added preservatives in the dish.

Once you receive your order, you can microwave, air-fry, or pan-fry the food, just like any other dish out of the refrigerator.

Food lovers expressed their joy on Twitter upon hearing this news. Twitter user @ks_krishna17 wrote, “Flavorful Biryani straight from Hyderabad! Love the new initiative from @zomato! If you're on the fence about ordering from Intercity Legends, I'd suggest to give it a try. The food is quite fresh and enjoyable.”

Another user @pushkalcodes tweeted, ”@zomato⁩ you beauty! Looking forward to my first intercity order and the memories it'll bring back! Chicken Masala from Dastarkhwan is amazing, kudos to the curation as well.”
