But do you know that you need to go through a Know Your Customer (KYC) process before trading or investing into Cryptocurrency? How to get KYC verification on Crypto exchange?
1. Keep all your documents handy. Once you open your account on crypto exchange, you will need to submit the PAN card and Address Proof such as Aadhar card, passport, driving license or any utility bill to complete your KYC verification. Sometimes few crypto exchange platforms ask for a cheque or bank account statement also.
2. Once your all documents are ready, go to the crypto exchange website and head towards the settings page. Then, find the Verify Identity or Complete KYC option.
3. There, you will need to upload your ID proof. You may use your device gallery to upload it or can click a new picture of your PAN card during the step.
4. Following that, you will need to upload your address proof, while selecting the option for the document that you want to upload amongst your Aadhaar Card, Driving License, Passport or utility bill.
5. Ensure to fill all your KYC details accurately, which involves adding and verifying your bank details. Choose Banking from your exchange's settings page and follow the steps to enter your bank information
6. Along with providing information, you may be required to provide a picture of your bank cheque or bank statement, which can be uploaded the same as you provided your ID proof.
And it's done! Your work is done here. Now, the crypto exchange will approve your KYC and bank details before you start investing in cryptocurrency.
