After the gritty and serious movies and shows of last week, this week is going to be more light-hearted and fun for all you OTT aficionados. So, if your genre is fun and entertainment, there is going to be a lot to look forward to. And the thriller seekers out there need not be disappointed either as there is a special movie waiting for you. The biggest highlight of the week is Thiruchitrambalam, one of the biggest hits of the year. The movie also stars fan favorite Dhanush. Alongside we also have the thriller with the all-women cast Hush Hush which also marks the entry of Juhi Chawla to the OTT foray. The second season of Jamtara is also debuting this week. Finally, two low budget fun movies, Babli Bouncer and Atithi Bhooto Bhava will also be released this weekend. So, let us take a closer look at these OTT releases this week.

    Thiruchitrambalam on Sun NXT

This romantic comedy is one of the biggest hits of the year. Now whether that is because of Dhanush or because the movie is a slice of life which really develops the characters through little incidents of life is anyone's guess. If you are looking for something to get warm feelings at the end, this is the movie to watch. Apart from Dhanush, the film casts Raashi Khanna, Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj and others.

Hush Hush on Amazon Prime Videos

If you needed three reasons to watch Hush Hush, here are these. It's a thriller that disguises itself as a social commentary. It is a mini series of seven episodes meaning you can finish it easily over the weekend. And it is an all-women cast with Juhi Chawla at the helm. And that's all you need to know. Give this show a shot and you might be pleasantly surprised. The web series features Juhi Chawla, Soha Ali Khan, Shahana Goswami, Kritika Kamra, Karishma Tanna, Ayesha Jhulka in main roles.

    Jamtara season 2 on Netflix

The show did a lot to highlight the problem of phishing and cyber crimes in India and the second season will continue to do the same. The show focuses on fraudulent SMS, WhatsApp messages and emails that promise lucrative things to steal people's financial and personal information. If nothing else, watch it for digital awareness. For those who have watched season one, you'll get to see Sunny and Gudiya reprise their roles. The show casts Sparsh Shrivastav, Anshumaan Pushkar, Monika Panwar, Amit Sial, Ravi Chahal and others.

    Babli Bouncer on Disney+ Hotstar

Madhur Bhandarkar is back with an interesting movie about a female bouncer from a village that is famous for producing bouncers. The premise is interesting enough to hook you in but its the story and execution which will make you stay for the duration. The movie is a light-hearted take on life and you should come out of it feeling entertained and happy. The cast includes Tamannaah Bhatia, Saurabh Shukla, Abhishek Bajaj, Sahil Vaid and others.

    Atithi Bhooto Bhava on Zee5

The final pick of the week is a ghost comedy. While it may seem that the genre has been done to death and has nothing new to offer, in this movie the ghost is not the plot but a plot device, which makes it interesting. How does a ghost change the outlook of a comedian who takes everyone and everything in his life for granted. That's the question whose answer the movie will provide. Also, it features Jackie Shroff as the ghost, which in itself is a big bonus. The movie stars Pratik Gandhi, Sharmin Segal, Jackie Shroff, Divinaa Thackur, Simran Sharma and and others.
