The movie is a remake of the 2020 Malayalam movie by the same name which starred Tovino Thomas and Mamta Mohandas. Despite releasing just a month before the nation-wide lockdowns, the original movie was a financial success. It appears that the Hindi-language remake is now set for similar reception. Radhika Apte, Vikrant Massey starrer Forensic makes OTT debut

Forensic witnessed its OTT release was on June 24, 2022 on Zee5. The movie has an intricate plot where a serial killer is targeting minor girls and a team of cops led by Radhika Apte and an eccentric forensic expert Vikrant Massey must come together to stop the killer before the killer strikes again. The movie is directed by Vishal Furia, who has also directed the Criminal Justice web series which was critically acclaimed. Alongside, the movie also stars Rohit Roy, Prachi Desai, Vindu Dara Singh and others in supporting roles.

“The team is confident about the film leaving a mark. The journey of Forensic almost felt like a joyful ride from the start to the end of the shooting schedule. Everyone was together and focussed irrespective of challenges that came on the way- be it lockdown, covid protocols, etc. Right from the director to actors, all have given their best and were brilliant at their job. Audience has already appreciated the on-screen chemistry between Vikrant and Radhika from the day the trailer was released,” said producer Mansi Bagla and Varun Bagla, according to a report by ANI.
