Gionee on Thursday launched two new smartphones in India. The Gionee S11 Lite and Gionee F205 were first launched in China in November last year. Gionee S11 Lite is priced at 13,999 while Gionee F205 is available for ₹8,999.

They come with improved design and dual-rear cameras and will be competing with similar phones of rival companies in their league.

Gionee S11 Lite: Specifications

Featuring a 5.7-inch HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, the Gionee S11 Lite runs on dated Android 7.1 Nougat and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon MSM8937 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM.

For photography, Gionee S11 Lite comes with a dual-camera setup with a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies. The smartphone comes with 32GB storage, expandable via a microSD card.

Other key features of the phone include rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3030 mAh battery, and connectivity options such as dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and OTG.

Gionee F205: Specifications

Gionee comes with a 5.45-inch HD display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Running on Android 7.1 Nougat, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz MediaTek 6739 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage up to 256GB via a microSD card.

It also comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera. On the front it has 5-megapixel sensor. The phone camera supports a bunch of modes such as Bokeh selfie, Group Selfie and Backlight. It comes with a special Face Beauty mode which the company claims helps deliver quality selfies even in a cluttered background.

Other important features of the phone include dual-SIM, 2,670 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and OTG.
