Hardcore Henry shot entirely on a GoPro to release in India on April 8

Hollywood film Hardcore Henry, touted as the world's first ever movie to be completely shot on GoPro, is all set to release in India on April 8.

Helmed by debut director Ilya Naishuller, the film stars Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, and Tim Roth.

The GoPro (camera) technique uses a first person perspective where the audience sees everything through the eyes of a character.

The film follows the intriguing story of Henry who is brought back from the dead by his wife and how he must somehow with a bleak memory reach to the kidnapper Akan -- a notorious warlord.

Hardcore Henry, premiered in 2015 at the Toronto International Film Festival, won the Peoples Choice Award.

The film is being distributed and marketed in India by PVR Pictures.
