Here’s a list of all the Chinese apps that India banned
The list of banned apps include TikTok and Shareit among others.
The government on Monday banned 59 Chinese apps in India. The Ministry of Information Technology in a statement said that the apps had been banned “in the emergent nature of threat” as these apps are “engaged in activities that are prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India, defence of India, security of state, and public order.”
The ministry further specified that these apps had been banned both on mobile and non-mobile internet enabled devices, which means that users will not be able to access these apps or their web-based platforms in the country.
