After much anticipation, Good Luck Jerry will see its release soon. And to add to the thrill of the fans, the movie will skip its theatrical release and go directly to OTT. This means that fans will not have to go through the hassle of booking tickets and beating the traffic to watch the film and instead can enjoy it from the comfort of their home. The Jahnvi Kapoor starrer is a remake of the Tamil film Kolamaavu Kokila which came out in 2018. The original movie starred famous actress Nayanthara along with Saranya Ponvannan, Yogi Babu, R. S. Janhvi Kapoor led Good Luck Jerry to make OTT release soon

The Hindi language black comedy crime movie is directed by Sidharth Sengupta, who will be making his movie direction debut with the film. Sengupta is known for directing TV shows such as Balika Vadhu and web series like Apharan. The story of the Tamil remake revolves around a woman who tries to find a job to take care of her parents and sister. Things take an interesting turn when she stumbles upon a cocaine smuggling business and decides to enter it to earn money. But now she must maintain a double life in front of her family while evading the police.

The movie casts Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role along with Deepak Dobriyal, Mita Vashisht, Neeraj Sood, Sushant Singh and others. If you are interested in watching the movie, you do not need to wait much at all. The movie will make its OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 29, 2022.

The revelation came from an Instagram post by Janhvi Kapoor herself. Revealing the date and platform for the movie, she also gave a sneak peak at the first poster for Good Luck Jerry. To watch the movie, you will either require a subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, the cheapest of which begin at Rs. 299 a month.
