Jio Rs. 333 plan is for cricket fans! Free Disney+ Hotstar subscription but there is a catch

Jio has launched Rs. 333 plan for its prepaid users that brings a unique advantage. Similar to most other affordable Jio prepaid plans, you get you usual benefits regarding calls, SMS, data and Jio Apps. However, this plan also brings on a freebie that could pamper the cricket buffs in India. The Jio Rs. 333 plan is offering a free subscription to Disney+ Hotstar plan but it is not for as long as you think. In fact, it could be only beneficial for those who want to watch the IPL 2022 cricket tournament at the moment.

Jio keeps offering the free Disney+ Hotstar plan with several its data packs. However, this is one of most affordable packs that offers this benefit. Note that the Disney+ Hotstar subscription for 3 months usually will set you back by Rs. 49 per month. With this Jio plan, you are getting it for absolutely free. As part of the Jio Rs. 333 plan, the benefits include unlimited voice calls, which is the case with most Reliance Jio plans. Additionally, the plan will also include 1.5GB of data per day for the validity period. The validity period of the plan itself stands at 28 days and the only add-on includes 8GB of data during the period, which will cost an additional Rs. 151.

Now, time for the freebie. The Rs. 333 plan is offering a subscription to Disney+ Hotstar for a period of three months, or 90 days to be accurate. Note that this is the Mobile plan and will work on the one device. Jio also states that the user needs token the Jio numbers active for the period of three months in order to enjoy the validity period.

Once the pack is bought, the user will need to sign-in to the Disney+ Hotstar app with the same Jio mobile number on which the recharge has been made. Once you login, you will be able to stream content.

Note that Disney+ Hotstar does not sell the mobile plan separately. The most affordable plan now costs Rs. 299 per month, called the Premium plan. You can login to four devices at once and watch all the content on the platform ad-free.
