KFC keeps on doing wacky things to liven up its customer base and in this cricket season, it has once again come up with something new. The KFC app now makes you shout loud to get the most discount on your purchase from the fast food restaurant chain. The feature is available in both the Android and iOS app stores, and works on most devices.

“India's first voice-activated mega offer comes on the KFC app. To use the feature, simply download the KFC app from the Play store/ App store, place your order, and shout “Howzzat” as loud as you can. Extra discounts will add up to your order just like the extras from leg byes and wides add up to the game's score! Getting unbelievable discounts is as easy as that! And the louder the cheer, the higher the discount! The unique feature is available on the KFC app for a month, starting from early May,” says KFC”

KFC makes you shout loud for discounts

In short, the offer will be available for the entire month of May 2022 and customers can get a discount of up to 40 percent. The feature was made possible with the partnership between KFC India and Cognizant, while Dentsu's Isobar agency helped with the UI design of the app.

Prior to this, KFC came to spotlight when it had announced its own gaming console. Well, it was simply a concept that is yet to become a reality but the idea caught on. Built to take on the Microsoft Xbox Series X and Sony PS5 consoles in late 2020, the concept in partnership with PC accessories maker Cooler Master promised to offer the latest gaming experience while keeping your fried chicken warm and fresh.

Microsoft then came up with a funky idea to take on the KFConsole. Microsoft announced a new Xbox Mini Fridge, which looked like a large Xbox Series X gaming console but opened up to reveal a mini refrigerator inside.
