Lenovo launched a new smartphone in India on Wednesday. Called the Lenovo K8 Note, the smartphone will go on sale on August 18 exclusively via Amazon India.

One of the main talking points of the Lenovo K8 Note is that it runs on stock Android instead of Lenovo's propriety Vibe UI on top of Android. According to Lenovo, the stock Android will help the smartphone deliver a more fluid experience. The K8 Note runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the-box.

The Lenovo K8 Note is also the first budget Lenovo smartphone to feature a dual-rear camera. It comes with a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. The second camera allows capturing of depth of field to deliver DSLR-like bokeh effect. The camera also comes with a Pro mode as well that allows further customisation of the photos.

Along with the dual cameras on the back, the Lenovo K8 Note sports a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with Pro mode, front flash and wide-angle.
