Love WhatsApp on iPhone? Then know this big development
This WhatsApp feature is back on iPhone! Update the app now.
A few weeks ago, WhatsApp had updated its camera UI for iPhone users, which changed the way media was picked from the gallery. Basically, the horizontal media trail at the top of the camera icon which lets you choose the images directly from the gallery to upload on status got condensed into a single button. And WhatsApp users weren't happy about it as the feature added one more extra step to select the images to upload. But now, much to iPhone users' relief, WhatsApp has rolled back the update. Yes, the ‘Camera Media Bar' is back on WhatsApp! That means you won't have to take an extra step to upload or select media from your gallery.
The WhatsApp Camera media bar update is for iPhone users. With this new update reported by Wabetainfo, you will be able to access the horizontal media trail. However, to access the feature, iPhone users will have to update WhatsApp. The iPhone update process works like this: open the App Store on and search for WhatsApp. Once you click on WhatsApp, it will automatically show you the option to update the app if it is available. Tap on it and it's done! Now your WhatsApp will carry all the latest updates.
WhatsApp is bringing Instagram like feature
In a recent development, WhatsApp is reported to be working on an Instagram like feature. Wabetainfo report mentioned that WhatsApp Message Reactions feature is under development which is expected to be rolled out for Android as well as iOS users in the future updates. In a shared screenshot by Wabetainfo, the 'message reaction' feature will allow the users to react to a message by choosing between 6 different emojis, the way you can react to a message on Instagram. There will be a reaction button, which will be shown near a chat or group message only when your cursor will be near the message. And when you press the reaction button, you will be able to react to the message through emojis, such as thumbs up, red heart, laughing smiley, and more. Though, you need to know that the feature is under development hence, there is a possibility that a few more updates can be added to the feature in future.
