Microsoft on Thursday unveiled its new 2006 range of hardware products in India including mouse and keyboard for PC users.

The 2006 batch of products include the new XP Media Centre Edition, which has an all-in-one command centre integrating remote, keyboard and mouse capabilities in one single device, Microsoft India's Home and Entertainment Division General Manager Mohit Anand said.

The company also introduced the wireless 'laser mouse 6000' with special features like magnifier tool enabling users to view and edit images and documents, a tilt wheel making navigating easier for the user.

The new Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 offers a new 'gull wing' design, and has time saving features like zoom slider and my favourite keys which help deliver one touch access to users' most visited websites, files and folders.

Anand said these models could be connected directly to a Universal Serial Bus (USB), and could also operate on PC and Macintosh platforms.

All these new products have a variety of models targeting varied customer needs.

The new 2006 portfolio ranges from 300 to 6,000 and was clubbed under three broad themes viz, Performance, Comfort and PC Entertainment.
