As you will have no doubt gathered from full page advertisements in newspapers today, OnePlus, the company that makes the almost universally well-reviewed OnePlus 2 smartphone, will hold an 'open sale' starting at 12 noon today.

If you're been eyeing this phone for a while, this is convenient, because you couldn't really get it until the OnePlus Gods decided you were worthy of an invite.

The OnePlus 2 will be available invite-free on Amazon.in for an entire hour -- imagine that! -- and if you have an HDFC credit or debit card, you'll also get a ₹ 1,500 cash back, which will bring down the price for a 64 GB model from ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 23,500.
