OnePlus is making some bold changes with OnePlus 7 Pro. Among all other important upgrades, OnePlus has particularly highlighted the new display. Just recently it bagged A+ rating from DisplayMate. Now, OnePlus has revealed OnePlus 7 Pro will come with HDR+ certification.

HDR+ certification essentially makes the screen compatible with high resolution content from streaming services such as YouTube and Netflix. These two streaming service providers have already confirmed partnership with OnePlus. This means you'll get next-generation high definition content out-of-the-box. Also, HDR 10+ technology is also quite rare on phones and mostly seen on premium smart TVs.

HDR 10+ theoretically means brighter content with 4000 nits of peak brightness, much higher than the older HDR 10 standard that supports 300 nits of brightness. HDR10+ also delivers frame-by-frame adjustments for better representation of contrast from the HDR source content.

OnePlus 7 Pro looks like the first truly premium smartphone from the company. According to reports, the Pro model of OnePlus 7 will also have dual-curved with faster 90Hz refresh rate. For immersive experience, OnePlus 7 Pro will deliver a notch-less experience as it will sport a pop-up selfie camera.

On the back, the smartphone has a triple-rear camera setup featuring 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel and 16-megapixel sensor. The front-facing camera will sport 16-megapixel resolution. Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, it is said to come with 6.67-inch screen with 2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Other important features include faster UFS 3.0 and a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charger.
