After Apple iPhone X, a number of Android smartphone companies have launched phones with a similar cut-out on the top of the display, popularly known as the notch. From OnePlus 6 to Xiaomi Mi 8, the number of iPhone X lookalikes is set to grow in the coming months. But some brands are also trying to make a difference by delivering high screen-to-body ratio without including the notch. Recently, Vivo introduced a full-screen phone sans notch, Nex. And now, Oppo is upping the ante with its new Find X.

Scheduled to launch on June 19, Oppo in one of its teasers promises a "full screen experience" with its new phone. Recent leaks and rumours suggest that Oppo Find X will feature a truly bezel-less display along with a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8% -- which would be the highest ever on a smartphone.

Oppo Find X is expected to have a display similar to that of the recently launched Vivo Nex. The smartphone is also said to have all its sensors integrated on the display. Oppo Find X has been rumoured to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor which is available on Vivo's Nex and X21 smartphones. The smartphone could also feature 3D facial recognition for unlocking the smartphone.

One of Oppo's teasers for Find X shows a man using a telescope to look at the skies. The text on the teaser says, "Focus on the sky and the universe to unlock it." This teaser hints on the possibility of 5x dual camera zoom on the Find X. Oppo had unveiled this technology at MWC 2018 earlier this year. The Find X could be the first commercial product to feature this technology.

In terms of specifications, Oppo Find X could feature a 6.4-inch display with resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and aspect ratio 19.5:9. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. It could come with storage options of 128GB and even 256GB.

On the software front, it could run Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.1 on top. Fuelling the smartphone could be a 3,730mAh battery along with support Oppo's VOOC fast charging. Oppo Find X will be unveiled at The Louvre museum in Paris, France.
